Tak tohle bylo strašně dramatické. Dobré a emotivní? Škoda že jsem si tak zamilovala když mc "vyměnil" mlho za svého kamaráda. Přišli mi spolu fakt dobří, až je mi líto že spolu neskončili. Teď k příběhu ml se skamarádí s klukem co přestoupil o kterém se říká že někoho zabil. Pak už prožíváme přátelství těchto dvou a pak to důležitější - přátelství mezi nimi a ještě dalším klukem. Damn. Stalo se tam toho dost. 8/10

It's good, I think Hitomi was always honest about what he wanted and what were his feelings so I can't get mad.
But, even if it's good I'm kinda unhappy about not having the opportunity to see what kind of relationship will have Hitomi and Ryou. I wish we could have al least one or two extras so see that. I could become one my favourite mangas.

Great storyline and well developed caracters I loved all of them

I feel super empty emotionally but this manga is a masterpiece, nonetheless. Life is complex yet beautiful - just like this manga and the relationships between the characters.

Everything starts when Hitomi, a high school senior, returns to school after being hospitalized by a motorcycle accident, and meets Ryuu, a transfer student with a tattoo on his back and a dangerous reputation. Hitomi is fascinated with the mysterious newcomer, and they soon develop an friendship that sets the course for the next ten years of their lives. I was blown away by this manga, which, while imperfect, is such a unique entry into the BL genre and a classic for good reason.

This is a story that is about a trio of friends as they grow up and their relationships with one another evolve, even as Ryuu and Hitomi's intense dynamic is the sun around which the drama orbits. While the end-game romance is always very clear, this manga captures the complicated, messy, but always very human feelings of everyone involved with a degree of poignancy and realism that I've seldom seen matched. This is a narrative that spans about a decade, but it never drags or becomes repetitive because the mangaka has a deft hand when it comes to pacing and character development. This comes down, of course, to the writing, which is some of the strongest I've read in quite some time. The characters behave and react like real people, and there is meticulous attention to psychological nuance throughout.

I put off reading this because the summary seemed uninteresting and I am not a fan of love triangles. If you're in the same boat, do yourself a favor and check this one out. It is truly one of the best - a perfect illustration of how it's not what a story is but how it is told that matters. Recommended if you want an emotionally complex but ultimately rewarding manga about three friends with strong pacing and character development.

Relatively minor. Early on, there is some forceful kissing that comes across more like teenage roughhousing than anything. Later, one character is pushy concerning wanting sex and when asked to stop doesn't mid-act, so warnings for this one, although I wouldn't describe it as a rapey manga overall. Still, warnings if that kind of thing will put you off entirely.
