The last chapter made me break down in tears, hearing everybody reason to live was just Beautiful. As I kept going and going it made me question why I lived as well, it made me realize I can relate to most of them when it comes to that, which is why I cried.. to make memories, to reflect on the good and bad ones, to have fun, to make others happy, for my friends and my family, to leave a mark for people that are going to come after me, to simply enjoy being alive no matter how hard life gets no matter how much time is left, I can relate to all of them even the ones that can’t find the reason.. even the ones struggling all had lovely reasons.. that’s why the chapter was so beautiful to me, it reflects on everything we feel.. it was an lovely last chapter and I’m glad it was added

While the beginning didn't really catch my interest and the sexual stuff can get egregious, the rest absolutely rocks. The art, games and even it’s complexity become much more profound than I ever expected.
If you’re fan of the death game genre then give this one a try.

I came here to read this because I just watched the series on Netflix... it's awesome...I loved it ❣

Damn. That was actually pretty great.
Of course as expected of death game stuff there’s gonna be some blatant misogyny and rape but it actually chilled after the first few chapters. We even got a badass trans character. As for the ending, I personally am a sucker for happy endings. I liked the compilation of people’s answer to why are you alive. Everyone’s was different, and we didn’t end up hearing Arisu’s answer. This lines of with the whole thing of his search for an answer, a reason to live. There doesn’t need to be one. Some may be like oh it’s a cop out and maybe a little but I think it ties everything together. The death games had thought put behind them, and the card theme was neat. Overall it was a pretty good read. The women actually didn’t get reduced to [woman] which was a nice change and although the main character wasn’t the most exciting it was fitting nevertheless. Yeah I’d sayyyy an 8.5?

I came here after seeing the N*tflix series!! This is incredibly, insanely, effin good!
