Tragedy. This would be five stars but for some reason the author just wanted to make everyone unhappy. I dont know. Hated the ending. They dont end up together.
I actually enjoyed this story more than the original. It's incredibly sad and emotional despite being centered around the porn novel industry but I feel that it really solidified Rio as a character.
This is a whole ass mess, the uke falls for the seme because the seme lies to him, leads him on and then marries a girl and has a kid with her?! No wonder the uke is so messed up, he was left alone to care for a sick dying old man who became his father figure, fell in love with a selfish asshole and then lost his ability to write. Jesus this was a trainwreck of a story. The only saving grace is that the uke manages to find a sweet young man that loves him in the end.
I didn't read the main story yet so I nearly choked when I read the ending. I was fully expecting them to end up together and then the next thing I read is that Kido got married?????? BRO? WUT?
I read it because I like the style. But there's more to it than just pretty lines. I think mood indigo was a good reference and symbol for the MC's story. A relationship that began unexpectedly, and ended up sadly. I just wished I read what happened in between before the MCS really decided to end their relationship.
