The MC is weak willed and the friends are dumb the court magician is also annoying. Fan service panty shots drag this story down even more. Why can't we have more fantasy stories with less fan service, less women companions or at least more women that pull their own weight instead of having the damsel in distress thing, and more male characters that aren't gross.

Nearly everyone that follows the goddess is fucking insane. Yuusha-kun is sparkly and stupid. This princess is actually crazy. I know it’s supposed to be a thing, you can tell by how often it happens and how much Suimei calls it out for being stupid.
I want Suimei to be as strong as his father, please and thank you. His father sounds fun, even if he was also kind of a immovable dick sometimes. It’s part of his charm that rubbed off onto his son. (Ch 36)
