straightforward fem mc x indirect and complicated male lead… literally one of the realest tropes out there for hetero couples at least they’re both cute. love our mc though, she knows what she wants for herself!
The moment a story gets close to being realistic, it gets immediate hate. The moment the male lead isn't the way people want him to be, he gets hate. He gets to have his own boundaries and a personality, he gets to live his own life without belonging to the female lead. Is that really so bad? It seems to me that all these people in the comments who call him a 'red flag' and so on, have never been in a relationship before. Not every boy wants to be a prince in shining armor wanting to save his princess from a fucking dragon. Some, want to experience life differently by not getting attached. He isn't toxic and she isn't naive. People criticize a story based on the first two chapters and believe they understand what's going on inside their head and what their feelings hold. Sit the fuck down and let the story develop the way the author has planned it to. You'll never know how it will end up, if you don't continue reading. He deserves happiness just as much as she does. It is nice to read something else sometimes, something which doesn't involve around the female protagonist, but about them both and how their relationship turns out. Stop criticizing him for behaving human. He can also be confused, nothing is decided yet.
The main girl is so pretty omg, the dude is really charming I can see why she likes him even though he's such a red flag
He's def leading her on despite making his boundaries clear but it's prob because he lowkey likes her and doesn't realize or doesn't want to. She also never actually confessed to him so it's this weird atmosphere of they kinda like each other but don't want to admit it after what they themselves stated early on ("I only keep things casual" and "I'd never date guys like you")
I HAATEEEEE THIS KIND OF GUYS. You set your boundary, yea? Then don't do unnecessary stuff like holding her hand before letting her go on a date!!! Fk you. Mga paasa amputa. Either commit or stay firm on your boundary!!!
