A wonderful enjoyable collection of short stories that portray hardships in one of the oldest jobs in the world! 1) Kagerou no Shou ...This story would be more appealing to me if this girl wanted to be with him but our little girl dream is to have her first sexual encounter with the man who bought her from her parents and sold her to slavery! I found this to be weird. However, he is bothered by her request and prepared to risk his life for her ad the end, we don't know what became of him. Did he run away or was he killed? She only treasures that night memory of him which is weird for me!
2) Inazuma no Shou .. This story was interesting as not all girls are innocent as some of them are scheming to get out of the brothel and who can blame them? Seeing a character like that takes center stage was a refreshing take. The sad part is that she was adamant in rejecting the new ronin, but why? I don't understand her reasoning! That child has grown with a father because of her ignorance. Nothing can substitute a father!
3) Mizu no Tsuki no Shou. This was sad and some might argue that even though they were not meant to be together living, they can be together dying! No, if you love some you will continue living, you will live and continue their legacy. That is love!
4) Nagasaki Bojou .. In my opinion, this was the weakest story! Thier attraction is based on his fascination with her and vice verse!
