So good!! I like the storyline. I just wish to see more retribution towards the teacher but still a great read.

Ate ngl. There was unnecessary SA which was upsetting but the overall story and message is pretty good and the characters were interesting. It's nothing super ground breaking but it's got a sweet message about loving yourself and I appreciated the trans rep.

DAMNNNN this was quite something fr... a very interesting, thought-provoking read. the closeted bully trope is tired and overdone, but i think this manga handled it okay regardless. loved the trans rep, very nice to see liam living his best life. also so glad arashiro ended up not needing to hang onto that dumbass teacher's validation. the teacher character himself is quite something too - i think this manga took a fresh take on his type of character. typically with characters like the sensei, the narrative wants you root for their character development and takes the readers along for the ride on their journey to self-discovery, but MY GOD, he really did just stay a piece of shit from the beginning to the end huh? every time there was a moment where he could've redeemed himself and change for the better, HE JUST DOESN'T, and he falls flat on his face, stagnating and leaving a trail of broken hearts and victims in his wake. he's just so wrapped up in himself and so shallow, like there's really no other way to describe him other than refusing to better himself because he's tunnel visioning on what he wants to see and believe - and what he wants to see and believe is that he's actually a good guy, everybody else is just too complicated and therefore not his problem. it's such an interesting take on his typical archetypal character - and it's nice to see that the narrative makes no qualms about how much of a pathetic guy he is and doesn't try to redeem him. overall a pretty interesting read!
+edit: OH RIGHT also i bumped this down to four stars cause of the really weird SA scenes... so out of place and inconsequential like there was really no reason for that at all and almost feeds into the whole gay ppl r predators fearmongering, really did not need those scenes at all.
