15. I just can't anymore. the dad acts like he’s dating his daughter with how overprotective he is. every chapter is him interrupting them and getting angry they’re doing normal couple things. they can’t even go on a date without him coming with them. they kiss and he has a seizure and punishes them. this overprotective father trope has been dragged on for too long.
Completed. FL was the daughter of a carpenter. ML was an apprentice to that carpenter. He looks up to that father So he live with them for his apprenticeship Father super protective of daughter but they both fell in love And he has to prove worthy of taking over the business and his daughter Little to no drama at all They both really love each other and he got the approval and they got married and had a son but the wedding was not shown instead their in the midst of building their home
The story was absolutely great! I liked how it's pretty straight forward and fun, full of passion and wholesome goodness. It's so cute to see them being so passionate about carpentry and making stuff with love and determination that I too would get invested on those power tools and wanting to own one. Probably one of the most dramatic-free and just pure comedic goodness with a bit of meaningful life lessons along the way, and I appreciated how consistent the story was from start to finish. I had a lot of laughs in this one. Very good, cute and sweet.
never been interested in woodwork but this was so good. like it was funny and cute and just a great read. the dad did get a little annoying but other than that it was great.
