Chapter 1 was cool, but then it just seems to go down hill from there and loses all interest

tanuki leader died because of a fire fox attack and MC is too soft not to have the fox killed?? WTF? even new leader of tanuki which is a kid agrees not to kill the fox WHO IS THE CAUSE OF OLD TANUKI LEADER. WTF?!
