Honestly this story was good in the beginning, but she used him as a scapegoat I don't care what nobody says because how does all them guys come flocking around her be weirdos and every single time he asks her who is that she never goes into detail she just shrugs everything off which leads the dude thinking it'll be ok to kill them. He was a genuine sweetheart in the beginning, but she turned him into a monster. And the thing that upsets me most is that she's free and he's locked up when he's the one that should be on an unknown island at peace away from the drama.
Kokoa is the typical case of an imperfect victim just like junji ito's tomie or even Oshi no ko's Ai. People have this image of victims where they're perfect and they did nothing wrong and if they did they believe the other person was justified to do that to her. Not always but this usually applies to women, specially in cases when boyfriends k*ll their girlfriends for cheating. She didn't turn the guys into k*llers, that's not how it works, they decided to do it. The mc wasn't a bad person but if we're putting the blame on someone...he's the guy who decided to kill his own cousin and yuki without her asking and he's the one who was delusional to think of her as a goddess
Well that was one helluva ride. Not rlly my type of genre. But its a nice change of pace. The story teaches a lot. Altho it was quite psychotic but it rlly shows y humanity and hope is important in one's life. The thing that got highlighted the most here was one's mental health. They were both forcing themselves to fit in and held unrealistic standards for happiness. That might've been the point where things started going wrong. It also opened my mind abt how popular ladies who manipulate guys attention dont exactly hv everything as opposed to the manhwas i often read. I wouldn't say i'd rec this since it's rlly gorish but it def is a gem for those who wants answers towards some unexplainable things in life
