1)Sanctuary Forest. After WW2, few Japanese citizens were lucky enough to keep their fortunes and some used the opportunity to gain wealth and status. The majority, however, was not that fortunate. The story of a former servant turned big shot entrepreneur and the heir apparent to his father business turned a brothel occupant is a heartbreaking tale of those who suffered the most during the most endearing time. Yes, it is a bit extreme that both parties had their statues turned over by 180 degrees, but it fits the outline and narrative of this story. Not only status changes but pride and personalities would have to be altered and even masked because the fear of death would overwhelm the reality of death. Short but wished for more detailed explanation on the aftermath of their meeting and the sudden impact of that on them
2) Sanctuary Forest [2]. Toki, an amnesic patient is being looked after by a person, he has no recollection of. I can't explain the situation a bit more as it would spoil the element of surprise. What I can say that it is a thriller that is a reminiscent of a Holywood production. I found that the plot was handled well although I don't know that if this love will surprise 3 years.
3) Sweet Home. Laid Off and dumped could someone to the other edge unless he has a strong will. This was not the case when our depressed guy met Hara-san; a runaway from his luxurious life. They indulge in the beauty of stress-free life [according to them] until Hara-san leaves. This story was the least favourite as I don't like the sense of a care-free world and do what you want without any consequences. Hara-san is a coward; he left his life because he didn't want to take any responsibilities and decided to take the easy way out and even when he returned, he didn't change in his ways of dealing with things because there are no punishments involved in sexual harassments. In addition, it feels like animals engaging in casual sexual encounters rather than true love.
