Couldn’t get through the first chapter. It disturbed me how the janitor guy didn’t help him out.

I'm on chapter 2 and I'm confused he beat up a rapist when he was one aswell? Make up your mind bro you should be ashamed of your past the other guy doesn't care but he should rape affects someone so much how can you just disregard that just because he didn't care about his experience doesn't mean others don't (I know this is just an art story but)
