He couldn't believe his love interest(FL) BUT willing to believe other girl . Stupid guy. Did they realise what suffering she has been through in her age... Idiot guy. All are idiot . Tess also same.. she also never thought to believe her.. if she was her real daughter will they treat her like that. For example just see what did they do to Paige.. even though she was in wrong but Tess only give a light punishment. It's far more better that the FL been through... All are selfish jerk...

Good story, but one star off because the ML, the town, and villainous b*tch pissed me off so much. LIKE HOW DARE THEY WRONGFULLY RUN THE FL FOR SOMETHING SHE DIDNT DO
When you are accused by everybody around you, even the man you love, you have 2 options; fight for your innocence or run away! Wila is not a strong character, she chose the easiest option, leaving and that is seen when she was accused again by Paige that she had dwindled money. However, she can't forget her guilt for not saving her best friend which adds insult to the injury!
Paige is a victim and a villain as well. She was victim/villain at the car accident, but that was not her fault, reckless driving doesn't mean that she wanted her companion dead, it could be her nature to prove her worthiness as a driver that she wanted to drive on an unpaved dangerous land! The second time, she was afraid of Wilia and the possibility that would tell and her actions are justifiable for any person who is afraid that the truth will come out!
I'm not a fan of this story's plot as I found the pace and the editing lacking. The characters even though they are humanized by their flaws, they all tend to be too passive to be likable!
