Since this was under the yaoi genre, I didn't notice that it was just shonen. I expected hot raunchy lovey dovey sex and got instead a couple of awkward kisses...oh well, I'll just have to imagine it...yeah!!!
The chapter where he told him the reason that he ran away made me cry. Was gonna give this manga a higher rating, but the ending was too abrupt and unfulfilling.
Very cute ... liked the art, liked the story/plot. Lots of emo, a few tears, a few laughs ... just feel like it needed one or two more chapters. A decent read.
This'n's a good Takanaga work. Enjoyable and light, although I have to say, I agree with her that she should just write what she likes, 'cause there's nothing more attractive to me than both people falling really in love with each other~ That said, Kouki's not a bad, he's kinda annoying in the way he intentionally hurts people as a manipulation tactic but I suppose it's because he's immature. That fact that he has to face it with Itaru, I think is a good sign that he's open to change. I'm so proud of Icchan!! Good for him! Kinda reminds me of a mix between Turning Point and the final Chaos by Love series, what with hiding, stealing, manipulation, low self-esteem, writing, etc. Also, I wiiiish this was written at a time when transgender issues were more well known since I kept editing Kurumi's pronouns in my head when they came up, as well as her approach to the subject; I suppose that's just the way with cis authors haaaa I remember a lot of lifting from this manga into my own stories, especially with names...I have a "Kouki" who looks an awful lot like Itaru.....
Someone mentioned in the comments that they wished there was one more chapter; I totally agree. I needed another chapter to truly feel like the seme had fallen for the uke.
Good premise and story and characters but the romance between the 2 MCs seemed forced and fake especially on Kouki's part, since it feels like he is still in love with Kurumi...oh well...
