One of my most favourite short Mangas of all time! I read this back in high-school when I was dealing with alot of stuff so it was so encouraging to read. I highly recommend this to anyone and everyone.
It’s such a cute, short, and nice little story to get into. There’s not too much drama involved in it, because everything gets solved very easily, as it should with stories like this. I love how there’s mini psychological elements on it, that plays such an important part in the story. The girl deliberately hurting herself because she’s afraid of life and what she’s doing is sadly so realistic. I absolutely love the other girl’s story too. Just because things like LGBT is so prominent now that it’s “stupid” to see why people are afraid of speaking about it, doesn’t mean it’s easy to say that you’re lesbian or gay. This story was beautifully done. It continues to hold a special place in my heart.
this isnt actually that dark. problems are absolved abruptly and the transparent abusers easily give up. i feel that in real life, we often reject the heartfelt speeches, or have to be told them many times. i still giggled over the gradual marriage of these two women.
It's not very "yuri" but it's still undeniably very nice and shoujo-ai. One of the first (and few) shoujo-ais that I really liked and enjoyed and really really shipped from the get-go! There's real chemistry between the characters and I really like the "gap" each of the characters have ("gap" as in the difference between how the characters look and how their personalities really are). I like the characters' design a lot.
Kakimoto Imari the cute, petite blonde. Kakimoto Imari the tall, tomboyish brunette. In spite of being so different, these two girls not only have the same name, but they were also born in the same month of the same year, just one day apart. One day, they meet at a hospital where they went to treat the same kind of injuries! ➻ I like both Imari, they're so cute together! I like how their chance encounter turned out to be a fateful one. Both needed someone who could understand them and be there for them... It's heart-warming and sweet how they found each other, accepted each other wholeheartedly and moved on together~ ➻ TBH, I don't like it when I come across antagonists like the one of this story...manipulative and selfish people who behave badly just to get what they want. I'm glad that eventually she let them be and everything turned out fine!
