8.3.24 i know i am always in search of this kind of work. in the midst of thousands of chaotic work this gives me a breather. it’s a beautiful piece of poetic work. i wonder if it’s every one cup of tea. but who like it they'll love it..
Charming little story about a ballerina breaking free of her constraints and basically saying "Fuck it, I do what I want now!" Has this really subtle and mature feel which I enjoyed. However, the ending left me a bit empty and I think they could have gone further with the story. Since the MC made a pretty big deal about her virginity and the old guy admitted feeling self-conscious about showing his naked body to someone young like her, I was actually very curious how a more intimate moment between the two would go. They could have kept it subtle, no smut needed (nor would it fit with the atmosphere I think), but I just wanted SOMETHING more. Funny, this is like the first time I read a story which did not have a sex scene but I WANTED one. Usually I don't care.
Hmmm, this is actually...kind of interesting? Age gap romance between neighbors. I want to read more, bc there wasn't that much romance shown yet. Since it was only one chapter, just the setup was done.
Update: now that I read it when it was completed I didnt like it? Idk the pacing or dialogue was weird. I didn't really feel love? It felt more like she had lost interest in ballet which was her only and first love for a while but then she saw her neighbor. And she fell instantly. And I never understood the neighbors feelings? Something about this was off and I'm so sad because I think it could have been so good.
Ballerina breaks free of her constricted lifestyle and falls for her older neighbor. Love this author, wished I had seen them come into their own more.
