Don't waste your time reading. There is too much cumbersome dialogue forcing the story on with at a rushed pace void of any feeling or passion. This is more an adventure genre with shounenai overtones. not yaoi.
A magician working on a cruise ship, bored with his life and dissatisfied with his lot, meets an handsome and mysterious treasure hunter and finds himself swept up in a grand adventure on the high seas like the ones he read about as a child.
A manga best described as an indulgent romp. It's well-drawn, nicely paced, and a pleasure to read. The characters are a bit one-dimensional and this isn't a story that will stick with you, but the it is a lot of very stupid fun.
One way this does break with genre expectations is there isn't any waffling or coersion in the relationship: the uke is pretty much down from the word "go." There isn't much buildup to the romance, but that is all for the best, since it leaves them free to go from one absurd adventure to another. Additionally while there is the threat of rape from a villain (nothing graphic and given the tone of the manga it's not particularly serious), there is no rape/dubcon.
So yes, highly recommended if you want something that features nautical adventures, something that is a mindless joy to read with absolutely no angst whatsoever.
