Started off as a contract marriage between a womanizer Duke who despises women falling in love with him and a low-ranking princess who's down on her luck. The Duke quickly falls completely and utterly in love with the MC and comes to regret making the contract marriage with the condition of "not falling in love" very quickly.
The MC fucked her menstrual cycle by ingesting poison as a teenager, and the Duke has special blood that can only be passed down through incest, and he's adamant on the bloodline ending with him. Their marriage is perfect because they're both basically infertile.
However, the Duke has a nephew from his dead twin brother, that the Duke is now raising as his own. And even though it's impossible for him to have a son with other women, the MC ingested a specific herb that would allow her to conceive a daughter with the Duke. There's a mad doctor obsessed with the bloodline who wants to cure the MC's infertility and have their future daughter procreate with the Duke's nephew, and the whole thing is overly convoluted and gross, but nothing has happened yet because the MC has a good head on her shoulders and memories of her terrible past life.
I enjoy the couple a lot. They communicate really well and have great chemistry. The Duke is very possessive but not overbearing, and the MC is sweet but firm when she needs to. I have nothing bad to say about this.
