Older styled manga, but kinda fun. Didn't like that people had to sacrifice themselves for the "greater good" and true loves literally fell Aapart cause of the situations at hand. I cri but also wtf author.....why???
The first "real" manga I ever read - pretty hard to top that. Of course these same authors went on to do just that, but that's a whole other ball o' worms lol. This shocked my tiny little 9-year-old brain when I read it and changed the way I think about storytelling since that day. I own both seasons of the manga and anime, which is something I can claim for rare few other manga. It's amazing
═══ "Schoolgirls Umi, Hikaru, and Fuu are on a field trip to Tokyo Tower, when suddenly a strange voice summons them to Cefiro, a world full of monsters and magic! They have been brought here as the last hope of the Princess Emeraude, who believes they are the Magic Knights, foretold in legend, who will save her realm". ═══
"You decide the name for the new country! You who have watched over us from the beginning!" - Wow, what a magic journey! CLAMP never cease to amaze me! Every work by CLAMP is genial! I had already watched the anime, but the story diverges in the second season. I prefer the manga.
