If I had the power, I would adapt it into a movie or series.

It started so well, then got a little fast-paced and poorly written at the part where they got together, like it just happened out of nowhere and suddenly they were so deeply in love even though they had just met like a week ago and nothing that significant happened for them to fall in love like they couldn't live without each other. That part felt rushed and forced, but then the plot got better and better. It kept pulling me into it, making me feel all kinds of emotions. As someone who loves crime thriller genre, this was a treat to me. It was so magnetic until the end that I couldn't stop reading. Definitely worth a read

A MF MASTERPIECE. I wish max and Chris could have lived with the dads :((( but everyone lived and the acknowledgement from their names switching at the end was CHEFS KISS. At least one of them knows who they are and because of that I’m going to believe one day they will find them when stuff calms down. I’m CRYINGGGGGF

I want to read but nitm and too late

This was a well-written masterpiece. Max treading through his life in ignorance as a pawn used by his family was just heartbreaking. I love how meeting Chris made him overlook his past mistakes and realize that there is more to life than just guns and revenge. I love them. Also, Nathan and Shawn are wonderful. I'm so glad Nathan didn't die I was already attached to him. The ending was lacking tbh but i'm happy Chris and Max are alive and together. Their new names are so cute. Love this story.
