one of those special mangas that feels like its about so much more than it seems on the surface. idk I feel like the art is so simple but it conveys something that the text doesn't and its rly beautiful
Dont let other reviewers misguide you!! This is a very good and sweet manga, i think its made for a particular type of person though. Its not fast paced and it is not at all trying to say something very convoluted. This is kind of like "chill boat ride on a foggy morning" manga. A "stop to smell the roses" kind of thing. At least thats what it felt like to me.
A nice story if your into bl but don’t really have anyone to relate to or who enjoys it the same. It also shows a kind view that at no matter what age you may be, new hobbies and new chapters are still right around the corner and can give you a perspective of a new reality and new relationships. 10/10
a nice and calming read but i do wish there was more. i wanted to see Urara and Ichinoi attend more events and talk more about the manga they read. IMO the ending was a little unsatisfying. Also it’s similar to Hirayasumi and Umi ga Hashiru End Roll! Both are really interesting manga though Umi Ga.. recently started getting translated. SPOILERS AHEAD:
i thought it would dwell more into Urara’s dabbling of making manga but the ending just shows her getting accepted into a college and Ichinoi moving away. we don’t even get to see her make friends with people her own age except that one girl in cram school if you can consider her a friend. i think it would’ve been nice to see a lil timeskip of what she’s majoring in for school but in the end i still enjoyed reading it.
