Honestly at first i really hate it but somehow manage to my liking ;)) bruh but damn mia is so creepy then her sister ellie but yeah it’s worth it reading! And has lot of moral lesson too ;))
Waaa this was beyond amazing A tale about greed, dreams, and freedom I do think the brosh was a symbol for dream and desire (some people has this thing they desire, a violin, a brosh, doll) Both sisters wanted to be free of a life of misery, obligations, work They worked hard to get it, did everything, but the question is "the thing you want the most, is it worth it?" To me both sister represents two ways of handle desire, Mia actively pursued it, craw her way to get what she wanted, and sometimes she got it, sometimes she lost it, sometimes what she desired brought her infinite happiness, sometimes brought her torment, when she finally got it, she didn't have the means to keep it, or had it but it came with a cost, she even gave up just to find herself in even more emptiness and misery While her sister tried to forget it, she leaded a life of resistance, and tried to convince herself she was happy, but in front of the thing she desire all her lies and all her hard work became meaningless and she falls in temptation While in Mia case she turns back when she can't pursue the desire anymore, ellie turns back when she falls into temptation, what I think is a representation for "trying again and perseverance" in both cases I do wonder who others think it was the most miserable, or fortunate, or if both were equally the same, if there was something Mia could have done to find peace when with what she wanted or if ellie was once truly happy without even trying
This is the best piece of fiction I've ever read. I dont have any fancy or interesting way of putting this.. im .. ..tired after reading till the end
I wish this author was more famous, and that i had found this comic just because it was so famous, and not just by pure coincidence.
I wish there was more work from this author, but i didnt find any. Such brilliant story writing, clear direction from start to finish, no dilly dallying, its very very rare to come across writings like that. And this one is among one of them
It was a disturbing read, and i..honestly cant pinpoint exactly why im feeling so enraged or what i am angry at right now.. but .. yeah. Maybe it was at the futileness of their lives. From start to finish, and then the cycle repeating again with no sight of breaking free. Maybe
This was insane just finished it now and like mind blown so bewitching almost why did I expect it to have a happy ending… I was so hopeful I mean I guess there is still hope
Mia is a young girl who lives a day without much hope. Seeing the ruby brooch displayed at the jeweler's shop, she is quickly taken away. When she comes across this accidentally brooch, her life starts to twist irreversibly...
