i have mixed feelings. i like the message of telling young girls to stop worrying so much about their bodies in terms of thinness, but i'm not sure all the dietary advice in here is sound and miyuki is just such a dorky, clumsy, goody-two shoes that already knows she's going to grow up to have the perfect body the author is telling his female readers they shouldn't be so worried about having, that it is kind of hard to root for her as a heroine.
