That. Was. Really good. I feel like I’ve read this “hero” trope 100+ times but never really read one with an ending. Plus the ending is good! It’s not even bitter sweet, it truly SWEET, like everything falls into place and there’s no room for a sequel, and it’s NOT stupidly ambiguous so it’s the perfect ending. and the best part is: THERES NO ROMANCE WOOOOO!! The main character’s companions are literally like his parents and I absolutely love that protective dynamic :).
It's slow. The ending still has some unanswered questions and it felt a little rushed. There was an opportunity for a s3 tho. I still liked it. Was a good read. I like the empathy of huggies.
Ch 27 I was so confused but it is medieval times and magic. Main did seal the demon king but the seal he made was treated as a fake and disgusting shaped poo that no one believed him. Main wanted to live peacefully but due to his lack of taking control of a situation with a fake hero, he ended up losing the seal and caused ppls deaths and his father to be taken to the demon lord's realm. Main had low self esteem bc he was a normal shy kid and all of a sudden was given a job bc of something only he can do and he didnt want to do it. He did it to save ppl but now ppl r choose now to treat him as a hero to fix world problems but he is frustrated to be shoved a job and all he wants to do now is to save his dad
This started off so well but so far the majority of chapters (at time of writing chapter 62) has been downbeat without much character development. I think the author forgot this is supposed to be a comedy?
