Great but not the best

Too much drama

it was a cute read. the manga was refreshing for me. i kind of feel bad for the parents/grandparents

I love this mangaka, they're able to tell pretty much any kind of story, and have you relate to the characters so well, as if it was you going through that experience.

Incest is quite a delicate topic for me... most times I've seen it addressed in these stories, it's just a matter of overly emotional people letting their desire for each other get the best of them. But this story was different, you could see how they really struggled to come to terms with those feelings, their own prejudices and the ones from their family and outsiders.
These kids had to pay a heavy fee for the mistakes their parents and grandparents made for their own selfish reasons, yet they never blamed them for that, even when said parents weren't supportive. But they still tried to work in a way that everyone would be okay with, even when they wanted to run away, they decided to grow, mature and move forward.

There's no way that, as a reader, I wouldn't empathise with their struggle.

It was a happy ending for them. The story of Haruki & Shouko (chihiro's parents) made me cry. I just wish she lived longer,poor haruki ╥﹏╥
Oh,and Shouko really looks like Chihiro,they're both small and they look really the same.After reading their story,every time I see Arima and Chihiro together,they'd remind me of young Haruki and Shouko..but with a much more happy ending,though lots of people will criticize arima and chihiro for sure..

ENDING:
*The mc was asking Haruki about the book that was just published (I think the story in the book is based on Momoyama household, About the father [based on Haruki's circumstances,his past and the daughter he treasures is in love with his brother,that even though he can't approve of their relationship,in the end,if his daughter is smiling,it's enough for him]. Haruki reveals in the media that he has a daughter
*Chihiro and Arima told their grandparents about their feelings for each other and want to have their approval. Of course,such things can't be easily approved and was rejected at first but they,the grandmother and Natsume(Arima's mother), still gave their approval in the end.(the grandfather,being as carefree as always was like "well,isn't it okay?"
though they were told by their grandmother that things won't be easy for them because the people will always look and criticize them.
*Chihiro and Arima moved out of their apartments but the place they moved into is actually next to Haruki's(chihiro's father) new place so Arima still can't do just everything he wants to chihiro.

at the beginning the story was interesting and seemed to be more than usual shoujo manga, but then it turned out to be average shoujo.. for me disappointment
