i feel conflicted here, on one hand it's a childhood manga that i cherish but on the other hand, now that i read it after a few years i notice a lot of shortcomings (and frankly weird stuff) i didn't see before

I loved it. It had a real and interesting plot. The humor was top drawer (I laughed out loud a lot while reading it). The characters were extremely well-drawn and could be identified with. The story itself was very consistent and well put together. A real favorite.

Cheerful high school guy falls for quiet classmate, but she rejected his confession, instead encouraged him to be with his friend!? Turns out she's a fujoshi...

Great read. I like it a lot. It's like a love confession to the Comiket ōtaku world in general and the BL fujoshi subculture in particular and a lovable parody of everything the Japanese entertainment brought to us. At the same time it's a full scale school life manga with a lot of sweet romance and teenage angst. The beginning is just hilarious yet not cheesy. I don't remember laughing so hard for a while. Later it settles a bit, but is still very enjoyable and funny at the right places. Or just exciting where it should be. And I really like the way it approaches the love scenes. While it still addresses the typical Japanese embarrassment, it doesn't go overboard with it like so many shōjos. Everything feels much more natural. Well, beside the female MC, but she's beyond help ^^.
I also like the artwork very much. I think it's well above average.

What can I say? this manga was the best I ever! read and not dramaticly I love how she said are you ok by having a perverted otaku as your girl friend and he said im not handsome and im dumb compared to chibi (his bestfriend) and they started going out at the end.I love this story.

At least read first chaps too see if i like it also story involves a fujoshi and a guy falls for her
