Heartwarming story about a mother observing her children and their lives, one of which is gay and the other, aromantic (they used asexual here but asexual covered aromantic back in the 10s and until recently for most people).
CUTEST THING I HAVE READ IN MY ENTIRE LIFE I GOT SO EMOTIONAL THIS WAS SO SWEET HOLY SHIT I LOVE PEOPLE I LOVE BEING ALIVE yeah i wish we got to see a romance but thats not what this was about okay this was about the gay experience and not even that it was about learning about the gay experience like OH MY GOD i could cry or something. bye or whatever.
Tbh im not into this deep in sexuality but all ik is that its much more better to love special person instead of multiple ppl just cause u have sexuality like (homo = u into all men, hetero= u into all women).
Also dropped this cuz its yo typical slice of life. It can be wholesome and all but a lil over drama. As expect of this kind of things
Incredible manga we need more of. By a member of the LGBT, for LGBT audiences. Manga has a big issue with having gay (yaoi) be the primary representation of homosexuality, resulting in a very fetishistic and overly sexual image of the LGBT, and specifically, gay media. But recently, a there's been good representation in more straight oriented media. What's been lacking a lot, is media by the LGBT. And somewhat unfortunately, most bara is again, mostly sexual. Which is nice, but not the best representation. Well this manga breaks both those tropes, and gives a more humanizing view of the LGBT community and it's members. As it also addresses some of the preconceived narratives. It's a lovely manga and I'd recommend it for anybody looking for a wholesome "slice of life" story. It doesn't get much more wholesome than this.
Huge props to the author, and many thanks, from a Bulgarian gay person.
