But I needed more! They felt like drafts! And they felt more like bromance|BL subtext. Apart from the lack of a kiss scene, even in the substance, it really felt like something was missing at the end, like that was only the beginning! They were nice but not fully developed, both in plot and feelings, because the characters didn't express properly their not-so-clear-yet feelings and the stories lacked a proper closure. The characters' relationships didn't really start...the stories ended just like that, leaving an unresolved feel. Their feelings were still in the initial|forming stage, in the budding phase, and they still had to be matured and then pursued. So, it seemed to me that the romance component wasn't there yet.
