One of the best manga I ever read, great atmosphere, great art, great characters development , it's only lack whereabouts of that relationship of mc friend. I really loved how the mc discover even if it was too late that the light he was after was so close(in the life of the girlmc)...

i'm probably one of the few people that actually truly loved this series from the bottom of my heart, and i wanted to offer some of my two cents.

of course the ending sucks––knowing how lengthy and emotionally-driven of a journey tetsuo and akira went through together has always made me want to cheer for their happy ending. but that's the thing, not all endings are happy, just like in real life. love will not always be sweet, and some people are meant to come and go in a person's life. it's unapologetic how the author writes about the reality of heartbreak here, and if anything, i'm grateful for the reminder that you always, always, ALWAYS have to cherish life and love to the fullest.

i don't hate tetsuo. far from it, honestly. i love him and akira both, and so long as they were happy during the time they were together, despite how they ended, i hope at least in the author's headcanon that they were able to individually be happy again after. "natsu no zenjitsu" will always have a special place in my heart.

This just broke my heart! The guy was a piece of @@. Until the end he kept on sending mixed messages. I think I cried for an hour!!

I tried to read the first few pages and gave up a few days ago, then skipped ahead to the last chapter today and... I love it.
