This is my first time reading this mangaka work. First impression, it seems very drama oriented, adult. I'm not really sure if I like this manga, the MC is fuck up. But I like the pacing of the story, although some might find it boring. We always knew there's things around this type of industries (acting, music, sport and much more), selling their body to achieve or get a certain thing. It's very much apparent in this manga.
I definitely like the maturity of this piece and the music theme. It's nice when they don't gloss over the darker side of life. But there could have been more affectionate passion behind the sex.
I liked it well enough ... (the comments for this are terrible though, I think they don't have a clue about RL performers/artistes and what they go through and the pressure they are put under.) Anyway ... the art is very nice, and the story/plot, imo, was well done. Lots of angst and smut with some comic relief here and there. A good read overall.
I don't really like the plot. It hurt when Lorenzo whore himself out for the sake of Kenzo. I think the reason for me disliking this manga is because of Lorenzo's character. His character ruin all of my bright expectations. This manga suit for people who like twisted things.
Complex, and somewhat non-linear story about three musicians, a conductor, a pianist who left competitive playing to play in bars, and a Lord who is psychologically damaged who is a brilliant pianist, but who now fucks his way around (quite literally) as a stage manager. Kenzo and Lorenzo's relationship is complex, and shadowed. I think the storyline could have been tighter, it feels disjointed at times. It's never really explained why Lorenzo can only play when he's on drugs, or why he feels the need to sell himself, other than his more recent desire to promote Kenzo. Lorenzo's penchant for weird costumes to 'hide' himself are just distracting and don't really add to his background story.
