It's okay. There isn't much really important to say in praise but I've got a few issues. It's hard to read at times, but I can't fault that when I'm sure it was translated years ago. My main issue is the story. It just gives you like 2 chapters of relaxation and then everything else is sonic speed. I can't keep up with it half the time. A good story is one I can skim and get the premise of. This is NOT a skimmer. Hell I got so confused with it just reading it normally! The love triangle doesn't get resolved, the romance isn't resolved, her main character hero to damsel ticked me off (and they didn't bring up her bowman skills until the LAST CHAPTER) and all of it is just at a ridiculous pacing. Practically nothing gets resolved. Story segments get dropped like a stone in the middle of the ocean- so don't bother trying to remember pieces. If you like historical romance then it's fine. It's fine. There are certainly better ones out there, but if you've read them all then by all means give this one a read.
Mana is a ordinary high-school student who somehow travels through time to the Sengoku Jidai (the Warring States period) and encounters Uesugi Masatora, one of the generals. He decides to protect her, while his rival Takeda Shingen targets her. With Mana knowing the outcome of this war, will he change the future?
The ending was a little disappointing. Though overall I would give it a read if you are a fan. of Red River or Mysterious Play. The ending was just lacking luster if you know what I mean.
I mean the art is great and the ikemen are fine...but ugh the story flopped. And the female lead is supposed to be an archer and athlete but that ends up being relevant for like 2 small scenes. She’s helpless and weak otherwise
I used to eat this crap up years ago but it's so boring now? Reverse harem with hot ninjas but the girl is basically just useless? And the guys also? Like I dont even know how I read that first chapter. Literally nothing happened except she traveled to sengoku area met a bunch of hot guys met a princess who looks like her sister gets a new dress and all the guys fall for her? Lame.
Honestly, this story makes me so mad. Like wtf? Nothing is really finished... I really wanted, and still want, to hear Masato’s story. Damn it. And the bad guy’s too!
