the premise of being able to hear other peoples sadness is interesting but the loving his own brother plotline was hard to overlook

I really, really enjoyed this concept. They handled the turmoil beautifully and made it not only believable...but understandable. I'm glad those quiet, painful thoughts were never voiced. The pain never had a chance to ruin his relationship with his older brother. Lovely. Recommend.
