very psychological shit to read

The art is absolutely breathtaking. But the story made me very confused, I couldn’t even properly enjoy it and I had to keep rereading panels to understand.

The panels are incredibly mesmerizing...though, the inexplicably rapid wrap-up isn't quite as pleasing. Whilst the mangaka's illustrations are a sight to see, there's not much I can actually say about her writing. I enjoy them, to a certain extent, but her works aren't exactly what I'd call 'memorable'.

Just my own two cents...you, yourself, might find her works to your liking.

Apollo is cruel and it isn't very enjoyable to watch him torture Ganymede and for all the philosophical talk I can barely remember what they were even talking about. The most I remember is that the gods don't give a shit about humans even though humans care a lot for the gods and Ganymede eventually wanting to die because he has lived so long in a boring world.

It's not a touching story. It's light and yet captivating. It's a story about the world and interpretations of it, gods and ants, immortal life and boredom, truth and subjectivity.
Don't leave your brain behind while reading ... or you'll regret it. Take a cup of tea and enjoy the dialogues (and the sens of it) without rushing. It's worth it.

This author is great at stories that pull you in and make your brain and heart hurt. I do feel this one was a lot of buildup for minimal payoff.

SPOILERS
I would have liked to see a little more than just 'i suppose I'm immortal now oh well' which was the vibe I got. Although the idea of the sky smiling was interesting, the extended conversation between Apollo and Hades was confusing, though that might have been due to translation. All in all it felt almost like this was the first arc and season two never arrived.

Confused af. I think I’m done with her stories. They’re too drawn out and never have an ending,m. Too slice of lifeish

The art was good but I feel like the story was lost and kept going back and forth.

the art was gorgeous which intrigued me to read further on. the story was okay i guess. though confusing it may be for my inexperienced brain *sigh* i did enjoy it. wish i could completely understand what this hot and gorgeous *ehem* hades character was actually saying... i thank the author for making his character so... i can't seem to find the word but interesting. he left me speechless every time he spoke in riddles (but that is part of his charms i guess)

TOO confusing

Weird and somewhat incomprehensible in places...
So, the external, obvious plot lines were red herrings. The actual plot of the series is Apollo's search for friendship, companionship, and a deeper understanding of humanity. He first treats Ganymede like a pet or worse, a bug in a jar. He plays with him and taunts him, but eventually he becomes more curious. He mocks poseiden for being so interested in humans, but then he begins to visit the human world daily. When Ganymede finally gives up on seeking freedom to prevent Apollo from becoming lonely, Apollo gains what he always secretly hoped for... A friend.
And this is not shounen ai.

First of all, I've searched this manta just because I've seen Hades' picture in Google. Now that I've read it, I realized how deep the plot was and the way they portrayed the undecisive gods was epic. The Greek Mythology has been awesome and will always be. I've been a fan of Hades even from the books.
