My rating: 8/10 The art is top-notch and the romance starts with a (careful) seduction. It's a younger puppy seme x older mature uke pairing and I love it. Loving the uke helps the seme turn his life around. SPOILER: But the uke is traumatised so at first the seme has to tiptoe around him. I don't like how the murder case didn't get solved.
THIEF, EX COP, YOUNGER SEME A thief (seme) gets caught stealing a wallet by another man who forces him to return it and to apologise. On top of that, he forces the seme to work at a book shop for 1 day in exchange for not handing him over to the police. Out of anger, the seme breaks into his house the next day but realises that he's an ex cop. He tries to distance himself but then he hears something about the uke's past that he can't get out of his head.
SPOILER: The uke's former partner (at work) got murdered by criminals who waited in his home and wanted revenge. The uke was the one to find his corpse and quit working as a coup after that thinking that he was unfit for the job bc he couldn't protect his partner. He's traumatised and at first couldn't even go into his apartment. That's why, when he finds out that the seme is the one who broke in, he gets really angry. But he forgives him after seeing his sincere regret.
I loved it maaaaan Jimmy is so adorable and bratty while Reese is SO SEXY they go with each other perfectly and i bursted out laughing when Reese wondered why Jimmy looks like he's about to cry and he just started bawling in the middle of the bookstore hahahahah Sure Jimmy messed up in the beginning but he truly loves Reese and felt guilty for what he's done and he's just so much puppy like I love him TT Honestly didn'f expect this to be so nice and definitely didn't expect it to be a comedy lol Loved it, goes to favorites and will read it a milion more times
A pickpocket Jimmy got caught by Reese, a book store staff and pushed to works at the book store in exchange for not handing him over to the police.. The thief Jimmy who held a grudge, recklessly broke into Reese's house just to find out he's ex-cop & run away. Reese retired after his partner's murdered at home. Apparently he's still trauma from that horrible incident, frequently goes to the hospital for counseling. Jimmy realized later that his breaking in terribly triggered Reese's trauma. What he's gonna do if Reese, his now BF finds out? - You stupid brat!
