Hm . . . It wasn't bad, I liked it for what it is, but . . . I feel like it was just missing something. I feel like when the story started to shift to Ryou developing feelings for Haruma, it started to get a little weaker.

The sexual relationship between the two men was great. It was sexy, it was entertaining, and I enjoyed the dynamic Ryou and Haruma had; Haruma was very quiet and reserved in terms of his personality and how he expressed himself which I thought worked really well against his overwhelming perverted actions. He was initially quite direct in what he wanted and his demands which I thought was kind of attractive. I also really liked the gradual way we saw Ryou start to like the perverted acts he was blackmailed into; with a lot of stories like this, I feel like the turn from hating it to loving it is very quick and nonsensical, but almost straight from the get-go Ryou battled that despite being utterly humiliated, everything he was made to do did turn him on a little bit.

I have two main complaints; I wish we saw Ryou forced into more things, I think the concept was ultimately a little underutilized, and I thought the actual romance was a little underdeveloped.

When it comes to the things Ryou was blackmailed into, all he actually had to do was wear a bra once and wear a buttplug once. The concept of a character being blackmailed into wearing a new fetish piece everyday day is something that can be really sexy, I think it's a pretty promising concept, but this story limited it to three days for some reason so I was left wanting a lot more than what we got.

With the actual relationship . . . It's not that I didn't believe it—because they had great chemistry—it's more so that I just think it was a bit rushed. I would have liked it a bit more if perhaps they had small romantic moments littered throughout the story, so that as Ryou was starting to like the sexual situations he was forced into, he was also starting to fall in love with Haruma. Because as it is now, their relationship definitely felt more sexual than it did romantic. The "I love you's" they expressed at the end . . . It didn't necessarily feel hollow, just unearned. Perhaps it should have been left for the extras?

Which is another weird thing. In the last extra, the story literally ends with Haruma asking Ryou if he loves him, and Ryou says "I don't know" . . . But like . . . Yes you do? They said they love each other at the end of the main story. Are the extras nonchronological? IDK. But weird to end it like that.

wanted to read because of bondage in the cover, no bondage. halfway through was kinda jarring because the characters changed wildly and I thought not-nojima's hair colour changed. better to pretend this was a SM play and the real characters aren't shown cause goddamn learn what consent and safewords are.
