I'm now fed up by this plot if he can fight in close combat then why not just go solo then...kinda stupid just wanna show off on a martial artist girl..and why hide your real strenght on your own party oof ....nevermind the other manga with the same plot that got banished from their party is still a hundred more hetter than this....

It’s.. A decent story... But I feel like the one character got, I wanna say a bit of a ‘redemption ark’ and she didn’t deserve it. Honestly it felt like they just forced their feelings onto the MC, and the two that wanted him to help her barely even knew her. At least it wasn’t like he was one of those characters that just said he forgave her and had a happy moment though. Which is common in a lot of stories. But that’s just me.

His partner.. Narsena, she’s just.. I usually don’t mind female characters too much, granted they can get on nerves sometimes depending on their personality, but she’s seriously pushing her feelings onto him in my opinion. Like, while you two have a slight past, you just met each other again. Seriously? You’re bugging him to share a house when it hasn’t been that long since you’ve met again? Not to mention just after his party kicked him out. Seriously, give him some flipping space. I get liking him, but it’s just way too much. I had to stop at chapter 12 because of this. Her being depressed over it, thinking he hated her, when he clearly said they should save money and it being too early should’ve been enough. That said, I’m gonna take a break from this and see about coming back to it later. Her childish attitude just was a complete turn off for me wanting to continue reading at the moment.
