Ending was a little rushed but it was a good story.

I feel like they had a great story with all the details needed to engage the reader and move them. Then the editor came along and cut out everything that mattered or something like that.

I love this story and the characters.

Saeki Subaru, a single father, has a duty to pick up his unreasonably loved son, Sora, at Nursery school every day. A man with good looks and potential who is popular with the ladies.. but underneath the surface, he walks down the yakuza path and being a lover of a group’s Wakagashira One day on the way back from picking up his son, he is called out by an 18-year-old guy, the new nursery teacher, Kousei. At first sight, Kousei caught his heart with his "Puppy-like" smile and the love for his son. While suppressing their lust, two hearts are drawn by a child. As he gets to know Kousei more, he yearns to feel the "cold flame" in Kousei eyes...?

So I love a good yakuza story and this one had a kid involved so even better. Yakuza who has a kid and a schoolteacher. Black and white. TW = rape. 6/10

-1 bc he treats his kid kind of badly and the boss raping him and everything was a-okay right after like wtf was that about. not one character redeemed themselves

Once again a character is r*ped by someone not part of the couple....and for no discernable story reason. Considering all the stuff that was said after, it really just felt like an unnecessary and ultimately unaddressed plot point. Like what is to stop the guy from r*ping that guy again? There was no apology and it could be assumed to have been done to get rid of the seme....but then does that mean that for the entire future of the uke's life he will be randomly r*ped to get rid of his seme partner? Obviously that probably isn't what the author intended...but including such a scene with minimal context just makes it seem lazy and not at all thought out. If a book is striving to tell a story then r*pe shouldn't just be added unless it will actually have some bearing on the story. In this case nothing that happened story-wise was dependent on that act. Uggghhh I hate lazy scenes like that. If you want to throw in random crap then just make a smut book and forgoe attempting a more complex plot.

I like the plot a lot, however the story is short that's why the details are omitted. The uke was so flirty OMG

Something is fishy here..is it gearing for some kind of revenge.
