I really appreciate how it's obvious that Ilyan has BPD or bipolar from all the torture he's gone through. Of course I don't think Kyle would've put with up with that if he wasn't the male lead but dam did the author know their stuff

I love everything in this story starting from Kyle to, okay, i love Kyle only. The plot is inteeresting, there is character development but main character is way too annoying. Like dude was bearable till the mid of the story, then he knows how much of a trouble he is, but he still keeps troubling his partner. And i’m not talking about his alocohol addiction. that part was somehow justified. But everything else like man just because you had shitty past you don’t have the right to make other people’s lives shitier and it it doesn’t excuse your actions too. i mean he goes around, talks shit to his close ones and Kyle who GOD DAMN IT HOW PATIENT THE PERSON CAN ACTUALLY BE put up with his shit and then mc is like “of course, i’m such a pathetic loser, no one wants to be with me” LIKE DUH and playing victim is pathetic too. like ruining your relationships and then whining about it doesn’t make you ane less pathetic. and he actually doesn’t give the vibes of changing like at all. yeah, he looks like he’s trying, right? but he himself doesn’t want to. there’s never a moment when he realises how much of an asshole he is and he is like “okay, let me try to be a better person”. he just follows the flow like quit drinking? that’s for kyle, cause kyle wouldn’t want to date an alcoholic. apologize? not because he hurt them but because he doesn’t want to lose them. and he never says something nice like openly nice without this tsundere bullshit, what he does- he apologises. cause it’s easier. he treats chris like shit and he’s so selfish when it comes to his boyfriend and he dares to complain about him not helping him. LIKE DUDE FIRST OF ALL WHO ARE A KID? GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER. NO ONE OWES JACKSHIT.
