crazy ass lore for a yaoi. Explanation that main character was SAed as a child leading to him discovering his abilities and therefore he doesn't view sex as something for pleasure. Fun side characters. Really crazy ass magic fantasy story for 7 chapters.
Fairy tales are something I've always loved, so seeing that a story that took on the classic story of Red Riding Hood and the Wolf was really intriguing to me. Red in this story is called Gold, short for Goldilocks (and no despite the name he seemingly has no relation to the Goldilocks and the Three Bears for some reason), and he's a Witch hunter. The wolf is called Fen, short for Fenrir . . . He's just a werewolf. The setting seems to be a hodgepodge of all fairy tales, a kind of generalized "fairy tale land," with demons and spirits and all. It was very interesting to read. Sadly, despite having fairy tales be what everything is based around, I didn't see (or at least realize) many fairy tale references, which is a bit of a missed opportunity considering the setting.
Gold and Fen were nice characters. Gold was this kind of straightforward, socially unaware man. He was very blunt and he didn't realize how his bluntness would come across, since he was completely ignorant to social norms. Sometimes it was cute other times it served as actual conflict, which I liked. It made it feel like a real, tangible trait of his character. Fen on the other hand was very lively, served mainly as the comic relief for this story, and the dynamic between the two men was quite fun to read. Gold was a muscular bottom which I am always a fan of.
Barely any explicit scenes but when there were some, they were alright. Huge, HUGE fan of the fact that we got a (small) explicit scene between Gold and Fen while Fen was in his beastly werewolf mode. It was so hot, idc. We need more werewolf cock!
Bottom Gold, Top Fen Gold, a witch hunter, is targeted by wolves who mistake him for a witch's servant because of the red hood he wears. Realising that they share his objective, Gold teams up with the werewolf, Fen, to kill the witch. Fen is none too pleased at first, because most of the benefits from this partnership seem to come to Gold, who can also gain healing powers by "attaining bodily fluids" from Fen... How will this unlikely duo fare on their quest together?
