i wish this manga can be an anime.

For an old series, this one had a potential in its time. I felt like the main focus on this story was Loki and Nakaba even though it was portrayed as this classic cringy shoujo romance story (which is quite a refreshing read honestly). Also, even when i had known that there will be twists in the end, i was still shocked lmao.

Yes the ending is a bit rushed and i do felt like the author wanted to just end it quick but it did feel like the ending was planned as the author said. From the beginning of the story, other aspects of the story was also rushed including the romance between Caesar and Nakaba, except for the story plots between Loki and Nakaba.

Casting the weird incest elements aside, honestly Loki and Nakaba is really something, like i'm not saying it in the way i see them in a romantic way like Nakaba and Caesar, but like they have an inseparable bond. They have this kind of bond that transcends beyond physical form of love, they truly care for each other....

Overall, is this like some kind of a innovative one-of-a-kind manga? No. Honestly i wouldn't really recommend this one either. I don't have any gained new insights from this. The author handled every kind of conflicts kind of lightly. But would i want more stories like this? Absolutely yes. As i said, this is like a decade ago. Time's changing and we've seen how progressive stories have become. However, some of the ones i've read nowadays felt more brain dead than this. So i would really appreciate if future mangakas could take the good sides of this manga and implement it into their stories.

I read this in middle school and honestly wanted to know if I was the only one who had to sit through the absolute horror of the reveal at the end. I don't know why no one is talking about this but the authors "second lead" is her brother like her blood related brother. And yeah they never kiss or anything but he was intentionally written to get in the way of the main love story. My 7th grade self back in 2018 actually wanted them to get together for the majority of the series and you can imagine how absolutely disturbed I was learning the truth. I pray for anyone who had to go through this.

Loki annoys me to the utmost, and i feel shitty that i ddnt read the genre: harem. Enemies to lovers is a nice tag but for goodness sake this was going TOO FAST.

What a sad fulfilling ending, it is a good ending. When you think the best ending has been achieved before the story finishes, when you think the characters are happy, is that really it? Loki knew that he was ahead of everyone. He did what he had to not only for himself, or for her, but the best for everyone. He made time, but not enough for the wounds of his people to heal. Even so, enough time for Nakaba to mature and understand. She will now have to deal with the new problems yet to come, problems Loki did not want her to deal with, he has always protected her and it is now her time to protect what Loki wanted to.
I love this story.

The FL is frustrating, well to be fair, there was no female character that I liked. The story could have been more exciting if the FL was given a brain to use. When one only has two options, it's time to think outside the box and make a third option. It would have been nice if the story did continue a bit more as the ending was like the writer just got tired and decided to stop where the story was....
