This is my second read of Asano Ino. I love his works. Even tho I can't fully relate to the characters but I still love to read about them. Asano sensei creates people and tells story of them which feels so real to me. As if these people actually exists somewhere
It's not Asano's best work, but it's a good manga to read. The art is very good and the story is well crafted, it flows very well. Recommended (3.75/5)
jolted. lowest of the low, felt this on spiritual level. maybe that's why i can relate it to isayama, he said after his aot he'll just open a spa somewhere. which portrays how important to have a life after work. you could love something it could turn an obsession, only you can choose what kind of success you want to be invested to. i mean, passion is always there but it's always the people on your work who make the environment toxic. a writer feels his work is all, but it can also be long gone without a fanbase supporting. it's hypocrisy to say you'll be contented with just one supporter because it's not. and as a mangaka who chose to make money by his work, it's really hard. and not just mangaka, those people who make a living with their passion only.
tbh idk where to start this manga was a great way to portrait inios life and work in genral, i really love his work in general he is a great author and he knows how to portrait the image he is trying to deliver which is reallly important to me, though the stories he write are really dark and acually talk about many important topics which gives his manga life, is this was acually his autobiography i cvant help but say i am dissapointed, but i am not surprised, if his life wasnt as bad as this i dont think he wouldve been able to write such mangas, but my overall opinion on him atleast as of what i have read on here, he is a pathetic man he seems to have aloty of mental health problems, he pents up his emotions and anger and then just dump it on others, writing manga is really cool but he had many chances to feel happy and even if i love and enjoy his work i think if he acually lived a decent life and childhood he wouldve led a better life, its messed up really messed up he is and so is his life,yet he still remains a great mangaka i hope this man can ever be happy or can just suffer at this rate i am not sure what he deserves ;)
