I can't begin to explain in words how much this story was good. The beginning was rocky but then became smooth as time went by. Definitely would recommend and reread. Top 10.

I will say I liked it, but it was also almost like trash at times. I feel like they focused too much of Juda’s issues when it was Daato that was going through it. Of course he’s going to want to leave and stuff if everyone keeps objectifying him and telling him they hate him. They made such beautifully crafted plots, but then addressed it the wrong way and didn’t even acknowledge THE ACTUAL PROBLEM. I want to like the romance, but they just did it all wrong. It all just boils down to, “I hate this person, but I feel drawn to them and they have never left me, so I guess this means we love each other.” Like, NO.

I can’t STAND how much they dismissed Daato’s problems, boiling it down to, “you’re not facing reality.” Or even himself saying, “They’re making me see the things I was ignoring.” Child, NO. You’re validated in wanting to make a life for yourself, for trying to look for a way to actually like yourself. The whole, “stop trying not to rely on others just because you’re an omega” was so fucking stupid because nobody gave him a reason to rely on them. It was all just based on, “let me take care of you because I have no choice. I hate your guts and you’re a disgusting person by nature, but be complacent because you have no chance of living on your own.” This is basically Stockholm at its finest.
