Gosh, Akiyoshi had AMPLE OPPORTUNITIES TO CONFESS, BUT he NEVER did. What was he expecting? That Minato would wither away alone for the rest of his life? The fact that they were by each other's side for so long just shows how much Minato appreciated Akiyoshi being in his life. Nine years is a lot of time to change someone's feelings, and he was the one who let that opportunity slip away. He has no one but himself to blame for that. Him being bitter after Naoki being back in Minato's life after nine long years just seemed stupid.
Though I am still curious about how the author would handle his love story. I would have loved to see a spin-off for him with his new partner.
I kinda pity but also feel incredibly frustrated for Akiyoshi. He had it coming but still kept trying.. I also really loved the conversation between minato’s family so ideal its unrealistic but cute
Hmm didn’t expect it to be wholesome— 10/10! Imo, there’s no problem with big age gap as long as it is CONSENTED to by BOTH ADULTS. However, Idk if there's something Naoki did that can be considered as grooming (?). Though I'm a little bit annoyed with what Akiyoshi did at that coming-of-age ceremony, personally, I’m still glad he did that cuz I think it’s still better for Minato to be with Naoki when he finishes college and to let him experience his youth. I felt bad for Akiyoshi but I’m glad he had no romantic feelings for Minato lol. I was shocked to know that Minato is the "you know" in their relationship, but tbh kinda expected that because he matured well—physically, lol cuz he still acts like a spoiled child sometimes. It’s a good read.
