Is this a happy ending? Idk. The uke demonstrated perfectly how there weren’t any resources out there or people that would help him, that he lived through hell and feel like he is still living through it. Sex doesn’t feel like anything anymore but from what we’ve seen he hasn’t been broken yet. He knows his worth and knows when he’s been wronged. That’s how he survived in the city. What’s truly unexpected and turned this story to a 180 was when he screamd the seme’s name and clung to him. Most people would be scared but he isn’t most people, he have lived through hell to the point where having sex with someone he likes for the first time feels like a bliss. Nobody would help a prostitute, and better than becoming a murderer isn’t this considered a not quite happy, but more satisfying ending? Their love is weird but it is still love. Idk I quite like it.
