I hate this story

I feel like I read all of this coz I like following long(ish) stories and seeing how it develops so I enjoyed that aspect of it but if I look at it objectively there wasn't exactly much progression; T continuously forces himself on N and gets offended when he gets scared by it, the father-son dynamic doesn't get much depth, I think N just cheats on his gf and it's hinted M will cheat on his fiance? And both to no consequence. List could go on but anyway its otherwise quite nice, light entertainment

7.5 Vol. 3 ch. 7 - slow, pretty boring

The only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is for how messed up it got in the end. The father and son relationship was going really well (it was super cute how protective of the father the son was) and then it shattered and they kinda went from being father/son to distant relatives. However, it's still a really good read.

translation a bit confusing at times

I liked that the story was a slow build. It was full of the true angst of human life, awkward father and son trying to feel out each other in this new relationship; awkward new loves for both, and fears and insecurities. It feels real to the emotions it's meant to convey.

i liked that it wasn't solely focused on romance, but a lot of it was disappointing and confusing. why did the mother not marry shino? i couldn't follow a lot of the conversations, sometimes it seemed that it was meant to be read R to L and sometimes L to R, so translation/printing issues? did shino actually like tenryu? i did like nakaya and hope that he finds a way to fuse-san again. had trouble following the father son relationship- was nakaya in love with his dad at the end? what was up with all the weird background prints? maybe things were being hinted at that i just wasn't catching? liked the voice acting stuff, but sometimes focused too much on that at the expense of the character interactions. art is just ok. just don't know about this one.

Sorry, got fed up by Vol. 2. The story was slow and utterly lame for me.
