My rating: 7,5/10 It wasn't bad. It was corny but cute. No toxic caracteres, just "forbidden love" although I don't understand how they could fall for each other without even really knowing each other.
PRIEST, ITALY, VACATION When the FL goes to Italy to find the place of her great-grandmother's childhood, she befriends a local from a rich family and falls for his brother. But he is going to become a priest and can't be in a relationship.
This was a very romantic story about forbidden love when duty and expectations are swept away in the face of love. I liked the characters very much, especially the FL Gabriella who was honest and cheerful.
This is surprisingly good! And the rival isn’t really a rival at all but a wingman haha. One of the harlequins that doesn’t give a bitter aftertaste with the ending. The gorgeous art is a bonus
finally, something not too outlandish. i love "harlequin" novels--but, no offense, they are always not that polished. the ml's are always treating the mc's like shit omg. this is something not too crazy, or dumb. it's just right.
