Lets be honest, if this was real life people would react the same way. Hes basically an idol, has good looks, kind, and strong. Like what do you expect? Like yeah ofc hes gonna be having girls like him. Its just how things work and a bit more realistic bc of the mc's personality.
Dropped at chapter 3 A.) This is not shoujo >:( B.) Homeboy didn't kill someone who tried to kill him because "I'm not a murderer" like what? why would you leave him alive?! C.) Why would a grown woman ask a young child to marry her?!
Boring...and doesn't make sense sometimes like how the fuck did he learn all the magic shit even though during his time at school he didn't really learn magic (thus why he was still made fun of). It would be nice if he had to learn how to use spirit magic first instead of just instantly having them...not to mention the concept of "spirit magic" is very boring. No rules, no mechanic explained which leads to conveniently adding powers to MC like "oh now I can fly", "now I can use elemental powers". Yeah why don't you give him necromancy to bring back his dead parents while you're at it why don't ya. Every antagonist here are so bland, usually a good antagonist has a reasonable motive on why they do bad things...in this one, everyone is bad just because. The nobles are bad just because, even after MC got to his hometown village they just add a shit antagonist with shit motives (for example the to be chief of the neighboring village) and most of the reason is just arrogance. Nothing more nothing less. Not to mention the MC has "resentment" towards someone when the author wants him to. When the nobles treated him like shit, or tossed the princess off the cliff he doesn't have resentment but when he went to his village and some of his friends were being assaulted "resentment" activates. How fucking convenient. To sum it up, boring MC, boring antagonists, very convenient plot points all around.
i didn’t read a lot but tbh i don’t like this that much. the entire plot is very overused. it annoyed me how he literally got tortured, woke up and was just ok. He even accepted the lame ass apology of that one girl. the characters are annoying and he has literally NOOO personality. “kill my mothers enemies” yet hasn’t done a single thing to go through with that. Plus the little backstory was lame as fuck. he promised to marry a girl when he was young ( which a lot of young kids do) and then he died. and there’s nothing wrong with that but what was up with trying to make it seem deep like that had any real meaning? he had a crush on a girl??? i’m confused. and it feels like there trying too hard to make him seem over powered. like how the hell does he just kill a grown adult when this dude has probably years of fighting experience.. he just suddenly remembered he practiced a few times and now he super powerful ? and the explanation the lady gave for how to use magic was sooooo ???? ur telling me it just fully clicked and BAM he can use it.. no practice or anything? yeah ok.
To be honest the anime flow is way better than the manga. I watched the anime first before reading and its almost different. also haruto is a simp haha i like him better in the anime. ill wait for season 2 but im not gonna read this again
