Akira Abe and Tamaki Homuraya are both teachers at a school, but one day on his way home, Akira sees Tamaki go with a man into a back ally, then grow a tail and ears. Akira drags Tamaki home and learns that he's a fox spirit who subsists off of semen, and he needs to feed, so Akira offers himself, only to find that when they kiss, Tamaki gains a seal on his tongue and becomes Akira's shikigami due to Akira's unknown onmyoji ancestry, making Tamaki the only man he can feed from.
