It was kinda KINDA disgusting and that makes the art so good, weird at the same time. On the other hand, that guy from the library is low key fineee.. OK im out.

I only read a few of these (: am looking forward to read this book. Not now as I have too many new stuff to read beforehand. When I feel like spoiling myself, I’ll read this (:

the last is so catchy

The thing that always fails for me with these stories is how the people react. That guy laughing at them for their suggestion that they're being hunted, while they all just watched their friend explode? I mean, I feel like at this point, you're kidding yourself with the whole skepticism thing.

The concepts are always interesting, but there are little things like the above that stop them from being as good as they could be. The song story is similar to a short horror story I wrote ages ago, which was kind of funny.

3.5 stars. Definitely better than Tomie as a whole. I think Junji is at his best when making short stories. The problem with them, though, is invariably there's going to be a disparage between quality and impact between stories, hence the 3.5 stars rather than 4.
