WTF that ending

i dont recommend this for anyone but big utena fans whove already watched the anime, or maybe big shoujo fans wanting to see into another era. saito is playing with ideas went into deeply in the anime much more shallowly, and that is partially because this is a sincere (heterosexual) shoujo manga, with the yuri really only implied for more dramatic illustrations. attraction and its perusal are abrupt and everyones motivations are painfully clear. juri is straight and wants tougas attention! im serious! but the attraction to me is how everyone seems to be living in a timeless daze, trapped under the paper in a way very sincere to ohtori. aesthetically this is flawless and i wish i could buy an edition printed in pink or blue.

is the anime better? yes. (its more ambitious for one). but this manga still slaps and its still hella gay. so A+ (there's some big gaps in my memory though so i only gave it 4 out of 5 but its a 5 out of 5 in my Heart)

The end totally lost me...

That was great.different from cliche stories.i couldnt predict the end like other manga.because if it was like other manga Tengou live and fell in love with Touga and it would became unworthy and boring ending but this manga ending was cool.

Ending is actually chap. 25. Was hoping the remaining 2 chaps would have been used to finish the story.

I love it SO MUCH the art isamazing and the story is quite different from the anime and both are great. Seriously best manga ever

finally finished the manga...

it was very readable. it had potential but the fast pace of the storytelling was a little disorienting. otherwise interesting enough.

The ending was shitty

It's a classic. I've never actually finished it until now but now I feel like I should have never finished it and kept it in my imagination.

highly metaphysical, surreal, and mysterious - too much for words. incredibly old art with the best femmification of everything

Really liked this one and didnt get bored of it! Loved the characters and the strong female lead! <3 <3 ^3^
